Introduction:

While working together to achieve targeted productivity of an organization, both employers and employees have the same goal – do not want anyone to get hurt on the job. Work-related injuries, illnesses and deaths not only involve financial costs but also affect every aspect of life for workers and their families. Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, employers and employees must know their responsibilities to practise safety and health efforts within the purview of safety and health related laws and regulations through a system which can cultivate safety culture with open communication, address specific workplace hazards and find the best solutions for safety and health issues.
