ISO 45001, the world’s first international standard for occupational health and safety, has been published on 12 March 2018. It provides a framework to increase safety, reduce workplace risks and enhance health and well-being at work. ISO 45001 is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, industry or nature of business. It adopts a risk-based approach that ensures it is effective and undergoes continual improvement to meet organization’s ever-changing context. ISO 45001 can be integrated into an organization’s existing management processes and follows the same high-level structure as other ISO management system standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Daily, hundreds or thousands of lives are lost due to work place accidents or fatal health diseases linked to work place activities. These are deaths that could and should have been prevented, and must be in the future. ISO 45001’s main objective is to help organizations to achieve it.

This program gives an in-depth overview on the requirements of HIRADC for ISO 45001 standard, which impart working knowledge on how these requirements can be interpreted to suite the organization’s requirements. Pre-requisite Basic understanding on Occupational Health and Safety related knowledge.
